McGuigan Black Label 2011 Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon: product recall

The NSW Food Authority advises:

Australian Vintage Limited has recalled a batch of McGuigan Black Label Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon from independent retail liquor stores in NSW and interstate.

The product is being recalled due to an undeclared allergen sulphur dioxide (220) which can cause reactions including; asthma, rashes, irritable bowel syndrome and headaches in people with an allergy or intolerance to it.

The recalled product is:

  • McGuigan Black Label 20th Anniversary Reserve 2011 Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon 750ml glass bottle with black printed label. Batch L12175

The recall applies only to the above product.

Any consumers who have a sulphur dioxide (220) allergy or intolerance should not consume this product and may have a reaction if the product is consumed.

Consumers can return the products to the place of purchase for a refund.
