FISHBOWL launches store in Chadstone with mental health education program LIVIN
Prevalent healthy fast-food group, FISHBOWL continue their expansion nationally with the launch of their seventh VIC store, Chadstone on Saturday, April 15th, 2023.
The grand opening of the Robina store will see $1 from every bowl sold donated to the LIVIN, a mental health program designed to break the stigma and promote positive mental health in team environments. Guests can visit the new store from 11am and expect to receive free avo with any bowl purchase, complimentary drinks from Two Boys Brew, and fun beats throughout the day.
Since launching FISHBOWL in 2016 as Uni students, the three young founders-Nathan Dalah, Nic Pestalozzi and Casper Ettelson have struck a chord with audiences, having self-funded their growth from 1-30locations in the pasts even years - making it Australia’s fastest growing QSR(quick service restaurant).
The decision to launch a store in Chadstone was inevitable for FISHBOWL with the brand having ties to the fashion world and community. The Japanese-inspired salad bar has catered backstage and been involved in runway shows at Afterpay Australian Fashion Week including Michael Lo Sordo and Bondi Born in the past. As the seventh FISHBOWL store in Victoria, Chadstone will be the newest territory and fashion powerhouse to empower people to make healthier lifestyle choices.
FISHBOWL Co-Founder Nicolas Pestalozzi adds, “It's the largest shopping centre in the southern hemisphere and the self-proclaimed capital of fashion, Fishbowl is fashion, and fashion is Fishbowl, head into Sneakerboy to grab some kicks, run don't walk to Fishbowl, request a bowl of luxury sustainable salmon and bring your own Loewe bag for the road. After you've eaten your Fishbowl, you'll look like a luxury good yourself.”
Collaborating with local brands to create unique opportunities is at the essence of the FISHBOWL brand. Partnering with LIVIN for the launch is an effortless alignment with mental health awareness being an important focus for the business. It was sparked from the idea of how to utilise FISHBOWL’s reach, doing what they can to give back and change the culture.
Speaking on the relationship with LIVIN, Pestalozzi notes, “There is an undeniable connection between the food we eat and the way we feel. Through our movement initiatives, real food, and community events, we're on a mission to empower people to live healthier lives so they feel awesome. LIVIN is another great non-profit founded in Burleigh Heads with a purpose of educating people that 'it ain't week to speak', everything they do is geared towards suicide prevention and on we'll be donating $1 from every bowl sold on opening day to LIVIN, so they can continue the good work, through awareness and funds.”
The alignment between FISHBOWL and LIVIN is one of their many to make a difference through healthy initiatives. The Chadstone store will be open from Saturday 15th April 2023.
