The Radisson Group set to expand footprint in Asia Pacific

The Radisson Hotel Group is expanding its footprint across Asia Pacific.

The hotel giant has signed a Master Collaboration Agreement with La Vie Hotels and Resorts that will add over 30 hotels to its portfolio over the next 10 years.

The Radisson formed a successful partnership with La Vie Hotels & Resorts in 2022, following the successful rebranding and conversion of the owner-centric hospitality management company’s Sri Lankan assets.

La Vie has now claimed Radisson as its preferred partner, with La Vie to develop, manage and operate under five brands: Radisson Blu, Radisson RED, Radisson, Park Inn by Radisson, and Country Inn & Suites by Radisson.

Together, the companies will expand their offering throughout the Asia Pacific.

“Our plan is to be present in all capital cities and tier 1 cities in the market, such as Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane,” Hotel Group APAC Chief Development Officer Ramzy Fenianos said.

“With the 2032 Summer Olympics poised to take place in Brisbane, it serves as an opportune moment for the Group to capture growth and demand.”

The companies plan to expand throughout New Zealand, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Cambodia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Bangladesh, Fiji and Vanuatu.

“Looking ahead, we have put in place plans to further increase our footprint in the market; one way is through building strategic partnerships, similar to the one we have just signed with La Vie Hotels & Resorts,” Fenianos said.

Operations in Australasia will be strengthened with the launch of a centralised franchising services model known as The Club.

“The centralised franchising service will soon be extended into Australasia and will enable independent and small-scale hotel companies to harness the power of Radisson Hotel Group’s global network,” Fenianos said.

“The Club of Revenue Management by Radisson Hotel Group will also help hotels to revolutionise their revenue management with a cost-effective, cutting-edge system for maximum efficiency and rate optimisation.”
