ALIA: One month to go!

The countdown to the 19th annual Australian Liquor Industry Awards (ALIA) has officially begun, with one month to go until the big night.

On Wednesday 17 October almost 800 trade members will converge on Luna Park Sydney for a night of recognition and celebration as ALIA Goes to Hollywood.

Kicking off on the midway with pre-drinks sponsored by Asahi, Australia’s on and off-premise liquor members will party the night away while awarding the top-performing brands, venues and people across the trade.

There will also be a range of networking bars, including a cider bar hosted by Rekorderlig, and a Jagermeister bar.

Larry Emdur will return as host of the event for the fifth time, which will star some of the hottest characters in Hollywood history as part of the always popular Best Dressed competition.

And the party doesn’t stop once the curtain goes down – guests will be taken across the water on board the Green Fairy Ferry, direct to Darling Harbour at a yet to be disclosed after-party venue where guests will be greeted with a Patron Tequila margarita.
