Ham recalled after Listeria contamination

Ham sold at a number of Canberra butchers is being recalled due to Listeria contamination.

Food Standards Australia says Mikes Meats and other butchers are recalling Prager Leg Ham with the date marking November, 14.

The ham which is sold in 600 to 900 gram packets may be contaminated with the bacteria Listeria.

Listeria can cause illness in pregnant women and their babies, in the elderly, and people with low immune systems.
